PREFACE
Now a days Nurses are demanded to be able to communicate in English especially those working at the hospitals with JCI predicate, that is hospitals having International Accreditation, that’s why I think it is important for us equip or prepare those, especially studying at the nursing schools or those working at the JCI Hospitals well by preparing more variety modules . And This Integrated Module is aimed specially for nursing students and all nurses who have already worked in JCI hospitals. This module is designed with the emphasis Structure (Grammar) clues or cues and related vocabulary needed, that the students get the easy or practical ways to construct their sentences to be articulated to their interlocutors. By preparing the relevant clues or cues they can do the given tasks easily and will then be automatically able to use them in daily English interaction later.
I have been using this module when teaching at Cikini Nursing Academy for two years, and I think the students can easily practice and speak better after completing/ finishing this module. Well beside teaching in STIBA – IEC School of Foreign Languages, I also teach in some Nursing Academy (Cikini Nursing Academy), and based on my personal need and experience, the modules or books I get from those school need to be simplified .modified and enriched as well. That’s why, I think I am called to prepare this. Well, this module is still far from perfect, so any inputs or criticism are greatly welcomed. And any shortcomings mistakes or errors are all as the compiler responsibility.
